The heart behind Sweet Melissa Workshops is a hope to bring people together and foster a sense of community while creating something new. With specially-curated, seasonal projects, you can expect to walk away with valuable instructions, tips, tricks, recipes, and, of course, decadent treats to share at home with family and friends.
In each Workshop, my focus is to create a beautifully-styled, photo-worthy experience. Every participant will be set up at individual stations with all of their materials ready to go, follow along with hands-on guidance, and be able to connect with others in a fun environment.

Cake and fresh florals go hand in hand! I’ll walk you through the basics of leveling and assembling a 6-inch layer cake in the ever-popular “naked” style with smooth buttercream frosting. We’ll then prep gorgeous flowers to adorn the top of your cake using floral tape and wires. Simple, natural, and sweet! A cake box will be provided to house your creation to take with you. A memorable activity for bachelorettes, showers, & special birthday celebrations with your favorite people. Available on location to private homes, wineries/distilleries, restaurants, & event spaces.
